NOT going to make it out of clay

Okay... where the FUCK does one go to obtain a dreidel? I know there have got to be a billion places where I could get one, but damned if I know what or where they are.

That's the thing about LA, you can get anything, but you need to know where to look.

Also please note, I'm at the stage in a cold where congestion clings to your vocal chords so that you sound like a retarded squeaky toy. So, call me on the phone (thus requiring me to talk), and I will kill you with pointy spoons. (You could call otana or sardonicus though.)

I know that Ebay would have them. :)

(Im an ebay whore)

Many bookstores carry them, usually in the Children's section. Times like this it's helpful to have a Jewish spouse!
If only there was, like, the Jewish Outlet or something like that. Some kind of big chain like Ikea. XD
In all seriousness, I'd try game stores. Not ones that lean towards gaming and RPGs, but ones that have puzzles, stuff like that. Failing that, I'd try toy stores or maybe antique shops.
Are there any flea markets or such nearby? I don't remember LA being particularly conductive of flea markets, but, I've found that you can find all manner of multinational goodies in them, judaic stuff included.
I was going to say Camden but I'm drrunk
I miss Camden and Cyberdog. :(
I'll send you some. How many?

A million.

And one.

Somewhat less than a million but more than one will be on their way in a day or two, along with a few other belated holiday goodies. I figure you can stash them all until next year, if you don't want to have a prolonged celebration this time.

As said above, Dreidels are jewish, you'll find them in a jewish book / gift / religious store.
Dreidels are Jewish?!

Holy fuck?! We had NO IDEA11!!!!!oen111!11!menorah

The "where do you get them" kinda floored me :)
I was more looking for a specific store/location. :P

"A Jewish bookstore" doesn't help because I don't know of any. I could certainly do a Google search, but that wouldn't tell me if the place carries dreidels. I could call and ask, but I only have so many hours in the day, and if someone else already knows...

Thus, I ask the interwebs, in hopes that one of the locals reading my journal would know.

Where to get a dreidel?
